For over 20 years, founder Dave Brown was the sole owner and operator of Alarm Works NW. When you called, he answered. That was the key to the company’s success. Now, the father-son team of Dave and Matt Brown own and operate the company together. Since 2007, Matt has been working side-by-side with Dave learning the trade, but more importantly internalizing the same core values of hard work and community-centered business practice. As Dave's successor, Matt has been enhancing the company to complement the changing needs of the community and advancements in technology. What hasn’t changed is our accessibility. Matt is the current President of Tacoma Narrows Rotary, of which he has been a member since 2012. He abides by Rotary’s Four-Way Test:

Matt’s belief in the four-way test carries over into his business practice as well as his personal life. He is committed to being honest when recommending products to our customers, being fair when it comes to estimates and pricing, and is focused on building long-term mutually beneficial relationships with our customers.
AlarmWorksNW also works closely with local law enforcement, city officials, and community organizers to help make our streets and neighborhoods safer and to keep our community better informed. We currently provide burglar alarms, fire alarms, alarm monitoring, and security cameras for several local city buildings, parks, and police stations. Matt and his wife are also active members of Fircrest’s National Night Out Against Crime committee. This is a national annual event to promote police-community camaraderie, which in turn creates safer, happier neighborhoods.
